About Heather
Heather Sagar is a classically trained musician who received extensive instruction through the Manhattan School of Music's Preparatory Division, under the vocal tutelage of Ron Cappon, as well as the music program at The College of William & Mary, from which she received a B.A. in Music Performance. Her Master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Ethnomusicology added to her technical prowess an intrinsic understanding of music and culture, making her adept at adapting to different musical genres and performance situations. This skill has been proven with a repertoire ranging from Mahler to Norah Jones, and everything in between. She is equally at home performing at a concert hall as she is on the lawn of a Texas ranch.
